Skegness

Advice needed please, I'm in Skegness for a couple of days and was wondering where's best to be and what bait will work. I was out this morning an hour before and two after high tide on the beach just bhing Butlins, beach casting about 20m out using sand eels and lugs but caught absolutley nothing, I have Wednesday and Thursday morning left before I go home so any guidance is much appreciated.
