Any recommendations for sea-sickness apart from staying on dry land?

My wife suffers from sea sickness (even on lakes!) she was told by someone a while back to focus on the horizon if she started to feel queezy and this seems to work for her. I don't know if this is very scientific though?

up until last year (due to a monster fry up,big mistake) I had 30 years as a boaty and always relied on Ginger in all its forms to keep my guts calm....a few days of ginger biscuits and ginger sweets has always been relied upon plus in recent times I've been using Stugeron 15 tablets the previous night and on the day so keep things sorted.........

good luck finding what works for you as nuffin worse to ruin your day afloat.

PM Greenwells as he's had similar issues in the past but found a pill that works. I have the opposite problem - landlegs when I get back ashore  and wobble about for ages felling quite sick at times. Talking of PMs I sent you one about the mystery rod but got no reply!
