Do you rate the patchinkos Rushy.
I'm building a bass lure box at the moment.
Mostly cheapies in there
So far
Red head storm chug
Tsunami minnows
Abu tormentors, fire tiger, mackerel and silver
Some flying c
Dexter wedge
Abu Toby in silver

Thinking now of
Mega bass 120sw
Maria chase
Baby patchinkos

Then trying to stop!!

They cast great and they're easy to work across the top of the water 'walk the dog style'.
However, despite thrashing the water to a foam with them, I've never caught with them! the hooks they come with are rubbish too, you'll need to replace them with Owners or similar.
I'm gonna try a baby one as I've heard good things about them, though I might give the ones hughie's posted on here a go for comparison :thumb:

If you're fishing shallow muddy waters like in an estuary or on a beach I don't think you can go far wrong with the humble Chug Bug, I've had bass to 8lb on them :thumb:

I know that maria chase is well regarded, but expensive, the chug bug did it for me, got my first lure caught bass on one.like dave says great for shallow ground.

I did best with:
1. baby Patchinko in Nacre
2. Rapala Max rap 15g in Charteuse
3, Megabass 120 lemon
4, DC12 IN SILVER
5, Komomo 11 in Chameleon

Flying c's, savage gear eels and the humble wedge also did the business
