Saturday Gynn Wall

Postby Fishnosher » 24 Aug 2014, 22:28

Fished gynn wall with my mate last night just passed red bank road, got there around an hour before, the sea looked ideal for fishing and passed a few others on the way down there so thought it could be a good session after reading some of the reports over the last few days.

After setting up fist cast in no more than five mins a nice little rattle and in came a nice dab.

Straight back in and nothing for a good thirty minutes or so apart from fellow fisherman stopping by asking how it's going and reporting how bad the weed was on other parts of the wall :bleh: :bleh: :bleh:

About ten mins before high tide I believed the weed had came but was nicely surprised when I realised no weed but a decent codling instead.

Soon as the tide started to drop we were plagued with weed, my mate got another codling around a pound mark but we packed in then. All in all a good little sesh.

Maybe your right I don't know??? My mate who i was with made reference to it being a shithouse fluke however I don't think that is a real species and I don't care either other than it wasn't a blank
