Sandstone

Postby Willpower » 20 May 2020, 09:43

Hi All, I'm looking for about 3yds length of thin rough sharped sandstone to 'cap' off my small garden pond and I'm looking for any clue as to where to find some. Many years ago I visited a place near the Marton Moss Side area, but I can't remember exactly where it was or if it's still in business. I remember driving in and waiting on a vehicle weigh bridge, then after collecting my stone, doing the same again and paying for the difference in my vehicle weight.
Better yet would be if anyone had some they don't need anymore that I could collect.

Cheers, Mike.

What does it matter now if men believe or no?
What is to come will come. And soon you too will stand aside,
To murmur in pity that my words were true

To see the wizard one must look behind the curtain ....
