When it comes to posting a photo or two of your days fishing there are a few different options.

OPTION 1 - You can get a free photobucket type account (Other image hosting service are available) You then upload the pictures to your account and then put the link within a message. This probably has the most options and your reports will probably look better if this option is used.

See Rushys how to post below this one!!

OPTION 2 - When you start a new message, or post a reply there is an option under where you type your message.

It should look like this.... First of all, Click "Browse"
Image

Now, navigate to where the picture is stored on your PC, click on it so it is highlighted, then click "open"
Image

The next step is to click "Add the file"

Your picture will then upload to our server, wait until this screen disappears, your picture should then be uploaded.

Your uploaded files should appear below. If you wish to upload more the one picture simply repeat the steps above.

Once you have uploaded the pictures type in your message in the normal way and click Submit when you are ready.

Any questions or queries about any of the above, just ask and we will try to help you out as best we can :thumb:

If you choose to use option 1 Photobucket you'll need to follow this guide....

You'll need to sign up and register with photobucket........it's FREE
Once you have registered go to "my album" page.

Now you're ready to upload a picture, click on 'upload'
Image

This then brings up this page, before you upload a picture Don't forget to resize the photos if they're too big, simply set the image size to 640x480
Image

Set it to 640x480 which automatically resizes your photo to a forum friendly size
Image

Then you can click on 'select photos and videos'.This brings up a window, where you can browse to where you stored the pics on your computer that you want to upload and put on your report
Image

Choose the picture you want.....
Image

click on open...
Image

The picture has been selected.....
Image

Now click on upload......
Image

Wait while the pic uploads......
Image

The picture has now been uploaded onto photobucket. This now gives you [IMG] codes under the picture. Copy the[IMG] code into your posts/reports to put pictures in your posts..

Heres a handy little add on for Windows XP users.

Obviously most modern cameras take high res pictures, and as a result, when uploaded to Photobucket etc they can take forever to upload, and unless you set the preferences to resize them they appear huge on the forum....

If you go to this page on Microsoft there is a "powertoy" called imageresizer.exe on the right hand side (11th one down!)
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/downloads/powertoys/xppowertoys.mspx

Or click here to go straight to download the file
http://download.microsoft.com/download/whistler/Install/2/WXP/EN-US/ImageResizerPowertoySetup.exe

Install this and you can very quickly resize all your photos with a right click. Rather than resizing the originals it creates smaller pictures within the same folder!!

Very handy for forums!!! :clap2: :clap2:
