Went Mariners yesterday afternoon . The first couple of hours i had no bites then just before high water I had my first ray a small one about 2lb then I had my 2nd ray on the ebb just before packing up which was just over 5lb.

Dab, Whiting, 5 bearded rockling, Flounder, Thornback ray, Shanny, Silver eel, Doggie, Tub Gurnard, Coley, Pollock, Starry Smooth-hound, Plaice, Weever, Tope. Mackerel. Turbot. Dover sole.

Well done on your couple of rays .Summer species don't seem as plentiful this year [apart from smoothies] but time yet for it to get better cheers mick :thumb:
