High tide yesterday

Postby pros » 18 Sep 2020, 17:56

I had been watching the conditions for a few days and there was an on shore breeze for a change and an overcast day was promised, also it was a fairly big tide. I had the pump out at low and got some blow lug and a few blacks. In addition I had frozen black, squid and sand eel.
I fished mainly sand eel at distance on loop rigs that I found tangled rather on the retrieve and worm and squid at various shorter distances on flappers. The result was another blank unfortunately. I did take some pictures including one of my new tackle trolley but they have disappeared into the ether.
A nice afternoon to be out with more sunshine than forecast.
