Final regional qualifier for Yorkshire region cssc

Postby pikeman » 18 Dec 2019, 23:13

Fellas,

I fished the 3rd and final Yorkshire regional qualifier at Bridlington north beach on the 14th December,
4 anglers turned out to fish in cold, blustery conditions with the odd rain shower chucked in for good measure,
Match times were 1500 to 2000 high water being 1745, 5,7 mts tide.

I managed to get 2nd with 495cms of whiting and dabs, the winner had 525 cms of whiting, dabs and rockling,
3rd place had 374 cms of whiting,dabs.4th had 264 cms of whiting, dabs and rockling.

Baits used were fresh slappers, common blow lug tipped with mackerel. I did enough to qualify to fish for Yorkshire region in the National cssc finals at Otterspoole in November 2020.by finishing 2nd overall.

Merry Christmas and tight lines for the new year to all at angling addicts.
