Padsta Tels Fishing Fleet

Postby Padsta Tel » 03 Dec 2013, 19:17

Had a drive to Grimsby yesterday to look at a Yorkshire Coble 16ft with mariner 15hp outboard.a nice drive until we hit Sadleworth Moors bloody cold up there was hoping to do a bit of fishing but the boat was a little way from the North Sea so we decided not to bother.

A good trip back with a couple of stops to check the wheel bearings got back about 5 o'clock. Now that leaves a little bit of a problem because that means that the place bashing dory is up for sale in the new year. Anyone interested please PM me and we can sort something out.Image

And here we have a few pics of the tells new place bashing Yorkshire Coble.Image

Now I've Done some research on Yorkshire Coble's and I found out that the design is thousands of years old and goes back to the Viking ships I'm looking for a motley crew of Vikings if you like To pillage and :secret: rape please PM me if you're interested

Looks a nice boat Tel,you went for that one eh :thumb: The Dory's a great little tub for round the bay inshore, perfect + economical - but you were hankering for something the size of the old one, great to see you've got fixed up so quickly :cheer: :cheer:

That coble looks a lot more comfortable than the dory Tel :thumb:
I wouldn't mind tagging along in my boat to become familiar with where you launch and retrieve if you don't mind next time you go out at a weekend
There's room for another angler too in mine if you want to get a little group together off the forum
