Otterspool this afternoon

Just got back from Otterspool with Ray . we arrived about 2 pm and it looked like the weather was going to be OK , but when we walked down onto the prom , that cold wind hit us I set up at the bottom of the ramp and Ray set up on my left . I put my first bait out and was into a small codling straight away . after that it 2 hours before the next fish came out , another codling , has it got near high water it started to rain I manage to catch 3 whiting before packing up , Ray struggled to catch a and ended up with a blank I had 2 codling and 3 whiting . It didn't fish has well as I expected , but it was nice to get back to the car and put the heater on

otterspool can be very peggy up near the top end jetty is the best area

Tough going Rob but you came out trumps It was rather nesh today, full marks for soldiering through

Would have expected more coming out of Otterspool at this time of year.But at least no blank.
