Going to give it a bash too & double up with Matty for the pairs Be interesting that time of year trying to catch a well insize flat AND round on most local venues, might mean some moving about. Couple of years back in the similar event Gerrys ran the fishing as bloody lousy locally, made it interesting . Lets hope this year there are decent Codling back by then.
This is as simple as a biggest fish meet guys, you only need 1 half decent Codling or Plaice and you could be in the £££s , got to be worth a lash.A few marks will potentially be mobbed though given the fishing hours , its not going to be ideal for fishing the North wall due to the times but you never dang well know
Hope its a good turnout, the last one was a lot of fun,got in the money with a couple of fish too

You pay in and at the end they draw everyone's numbers into fours, so its completely random and you could blank and win the mystery team money by a mile if you get drawn with a few lads who've caught big
An addendum from Bob Upandown on another thread-the pairs is ALSO to be drawn, NOT chosen as originally appeared to be on the poster at the top of this thread, both pairs and teams are mystery format, that's probably a good thing for fairness of running the thing - I expect itll remain 'fluid' until the day as theres a lot of detail to iron out with this format of comp I guess . Arnside's now NOT in the catchment area so to speak, Silverdale at furthest - you'd not win it with just a flattie anyway so hopefully not too much of a loss to the choice of venues.............
Many thinking of having a cast in it?? A grand at least on offer and local knowledge on your side, gotta be worth a flash surely ?

Any chance of putting together a general form guide for the various areas within the match boundaries,to give the away day anglers a better idea of where to try ?
