Fished this today counted 29 rods out imperial to norbreck I made the 30th..... in at 3pm til 6pm tried different rigs and baits but blanked :banghead: got rid of some old frozen mackerel squid and razor ...and at least I was out and enjoyed the day :cheer: there was loads of weed about too ....thanks for reading :thumb:

The Mersey was very weedy too yesterday .orrible and masking baits

Yes baits covered in it :banghead: looked like something made by Hugh fearnley whitinstall or who ever he is ? Yep that's what's needed shacky !!!!! :thumb:

the fish don't seem to be out there at the moment brian, if you show the same enthusiasm when the codling arrive you will be bagging up.

The Imax Thermo is good value but perhaps too warm at times! Layering up is probably the best bet
