Norbreck castle

Postby HOBTOBHALL » 28 Oct 2014, 20:53

Fished norbreck off the wall today in daylight with fresh black ,got there a little late one hour before high. The tide was smashing over the wall so I fished on the higher section and chanced a soaking when I reeled in. Ended up with 4 codling all keepers two dabs and a huge flounder. Caught two codling together first cast and only got hit by one wave. Shows there are decent fish out there . Considering it was so rough not much weed. Hoping to get the kayak out tomorrow as the wind is supposed to drop . :yeah2:

Had one about 4 pound on the kayak couple of weeks ago but you can't beat beaching a good one the fish today was full of little hardback crabs and shrimp . To be honest cut the stomachs open took the crabs out and will tie them on with elastic tomorrow guess that's recycling.
