No to strong tide

we live in ormskirk and are really lookign for somewhere without a strong tide to fish with a mixture of fish able to catch etc? anybody know of anywhere either up this way or liverpool way? any info really need to start fishing again :) thank you

All the Mersey tides have got strong pulls .fylde ,morcambe marks get longer fishing time

Southport pier for flatties in summer, has no current and very shallow but is nice for flounder, also Grannies bay, or Fairhaven, Lytham St Annes high water good flatty fishing and not much pull there on the tide either

not sure you can still fish southport pier havent seen anyone fishing it for a long time check before going if its ok will be back on their myself guide rd hesketh bank is ok if tide not to high :thumb:

cheers :) we are going this saturday either to grannies bay or can you fish by the toby carvery pub: Toby Carvery Salters Wharf further round? nice pint while fishing sounds good
