no fish, no fish, no fish

Postby TAXI CHRIS » 27 Aug 2014, 03:28

fished tuesday night on north wall with mac and craggers, we all had two rods, we all had black lug and we all had same rigs.
craggers caught fish mac caught fish but as normal i caught a big zero a blank, nothing but weed and crap.
missed a couple of very good bites but you can't eat them (the wife says) so i lost and them two won.
need to find another venue, preferably with fish.
But a good night good craic and better than watching repeats on sky tv all night

But you fished with two local angling icons Chris..??? Being in their presence means you miss bites as you are overawed by their skill and style .... Plus they are exceedingly jammy... Hard luck mate , but sounds like a fun night out..!!!
There's more to fishing than catching fish...

Fishing is more than just catching fish...
Coarse fish caught so far: common carp, mirror carp, crucian carp, roach, rudd, perch, pike, eel and Koi carp.

Sharpeys right Chris, you were with fishing giants, met them once or twice and hard to fish along side them because of there constant anecdotes and tales of sea bass and sea trout. :banghead:
Plus the constant fights with other anglers by Mac means you have to be on your guard all the time :D
Spoils concentration and leads to them out catching you
