New Barns Creek near Arnside.

Postby Padsta Tel » 16 May 2019, 17:16

Headed towards New Barns this morning just arrived as the siren was sounding as the tide came gushing in perfect timing, fished where the life ring was on the top of the rocks. Tide came flooding in beautiful scenery and sunshine what more could a pair of angling gentlemen need, it turned out the only thing we needed was som fish. Jeffrey Dixon had one small flounder on his spinning rod fishing a single hook small weight and an even smaller blow lug.A 4 hour session for one fish, other anglers finding it just as hard to locate fish. Called at the pie shop in Arnside for a meat and potato on the way to Sandside to see if anyone had had any luck, same story one fish between 8 anglers. Arrived home to the front room flooding from the ceiling a washer on the toilet had failed more water than at Arnside, with the help of Jeffrey Dixon he repaired it and then got the rods out just in case.A big thanks a Jeff.

Unlucky Tel, however you beat my 4 hour session on Wednesday for no fish. Things can only get better, though it’s better than working. :yeah2: :thumb:

Unlucky day :banghead: Shame the fish weren’t playing too much. We had the same problem with our bog, water coming through the kitchen ceiling
Try digging a few Creeper at condor green. Tip your Lug off with a few. Works wonders :fishing: :fish:

Looks like a lovely area to be on a cracking day like that, almost doesn't matter if you catch or not.
