Had an early one today, cast in at 1st light, 1 rod, twice frozen black, on a 2 hook flapper. Fished 3 hours down to low and 1 st fish out was a small whiting which went back. The next 2 fish were nice thick plaice which are now in my fridge for tomorrow lunch. The crab activity was absolutely horrendous, not to mention the weed.
