Family floundering fun -

One of my favourite venues Monday evening .... Sunderland Point on the lune estuary . A gorgeous local venue steeped in history. I've fished here since I was a kid and now it's brilliant to be able to experience it with my own lad .

Twos up!!

We fished couple of hours up and an hour back. The sport was superb with bites a plenty ! When we decided to head for home the bites were still coming regularly.

On the tackle front it was one up one down flappers with Turkana pyramid leads on the flood and grippers on the ebb. Baits were frozen crab and lug ( crab and creeper usually the killer baits here) .

A great few hours sport on a beautiful venue with a little dude that means the world to me, who could ask for more ? Surely what fishing is all about ?
