Low water Saturday 5 bar gate

With a brand new rod from Christmas money to be christened and some dryer weather decided to try 5 bar gate at low water.
Got there about an hour and a half before low tide and enjoyed casting my new rod but till little effect till low water when I landed a small whiting with a huge lump of weed that made it feel much bigger.
Half an hour later another bigger and fatter fish came in but just another whiting.
Finished with 3 whiting and a start in the 2020 species hunt
