Low water at glitterball this morning 19/10/2016

With thoughts of my 3 codling on monday at cadets base, I thought I'd try my luck at harrowside now that the wind has dropped, after all no codling in their right minds could resist a freshly pumped black complete with guts and all.......they did!!! Only 2 undersized whiting. Fished 1hour ebb and 1and a half flood.

Never been good for the Codling in South Shore even in the middle of Winter ..

I've fished there for over 40year and Codling don't show there in number's anytime of the year you will get the odd one knocking about but in my experience when they have been caught it has been rougher condition's and normally better quality fish ......I think the reason being it is a lot shallower that end of the Fylde...
Other people may have there opinion but that is the way I see it in my experience over the year's.

At least you gave it a go and didn't Blank.
