Can anyone recomend me a leg lock kit for an ian golds tele tripod with round legs please

Have a look at the Ian Golds trace bar clip. It also acts as a leg lock and clips between the round legs..

My Parker aluminium leg lock has stood the test of time- 20 years or so - though you have to replace the pipe clips every couple of years. I think Veals stock the Craig Parker tripods and accessories
