Later summer

Postby abbo » 25 Sep 2020, 15:11

Summer bass fishing started a lot later this year. I've tried to get some summer camping adventures in.
Normally staying 2 or 3 days fishing a 30 miles radius around the Llynn Pennisula dependant on the tide or winds.

I'll pitch in the afternoon

Get sorted have something to eat choose the lures for the mark a glass of red an obligatory fire before heading out to fish,

As the sun goes down I like to start.

The flooding tide and darkness brings the bass closer. I tend to use Dolives and Senkos these days.

Fishing's been harder this season. An illegal netter decimating once very productive ground

Still, fishing hard at the right time has brought some rewards. A calm warm night for this one.

Its been great to get back to Wales, camping, fires, small bass and some decent ones.

Not sure if its finished with the way Convid is spreading. Hopefully if it's safe for everyone.

Cheers all
