Huge whiting saves the blank

Postby Black Rat » 19 Oct 2015, 07:30

Fished the night HT down at Ladye Bay Ledges near Clevedon Saturday night. Nothing till around 45mins to HT then had a couple of good bits at distance on frozen blacks but did not connect. The rod close was being hit every 10mins but nothing ever there until this monster of a whiting showed up. Fish at last. After HT it all went quite. My search for Bristol channel cod continues.
