Hi ho silver 14/5/18

Thought I'd give an old haunt a try that I've Not fished for a long time, the plaque at Rossall. Fished 3 hours up to high and 1 hour down, two rods,1 and 2 hook F lappers. Fresh black and frozen yellow tails. While I was there I had a walk to see what the new sea defences look like. All I can say is I don't think I'll bother fishing high water up there anymore. Anyway about the fishing, I never had a bite untill an hour before high and then both rods were going crazy. I must have missed at least six cracking bites, because as I was reeling one rod inthe other rod was knocking away. Anyway I ended up with 7 schoolies to 33cm, all lip hooked and returned safely. High water came and that was my lot.

Well done on the silvers, need to have a walk down there myself and have a look at the new wall, as we used to fish a lot of matches down there
