You've got 28 days to post any objections Kyle, it might be worth dropping an email asking if that boundary could be shifted slightly ??? I've never seen a bass getting caught round there or fishing into the harbour at all to be honest
Make a difference - take home one piece of someone's angling litter next time you are out fishing

Heysham Bass Nursery - Update

Postby pa38 » 02 Apr 2013, 09:24

Just read on here on a fishing forum, that the bye-law doesn't actually become statute (enforceable) until September. It was on a notice in Arnside of all places very near to Heysham!!! Anyone got any concrete information????

Had an email from a guy at IFCA the other day...i had asked what happens now that the consultation period was over.....

Dear Paul,

The byelaw has yet to be passed by the Home Secretary. It could be a month before the byelaw is actually promulgated and then enforced.

If you would like I would be happy to keep you updated as things progress.
