Can't help Paul as all my headlamps come in below £20, but saying that they are decent light and if I get a couple of years out of one I'm satisfied. At the moment I'm using a 'Borlite' piece of kit and I'm pleased with it.

I'm with Flearider, as I think many will be. Certainly see plenty of lads using them. I've bought decent batteries from "torchyboy" boy on ebay, and a Nitecore digicharger. There are some nightmare stories about the 'fire' batteries living up to their name! I always carry a spare just in case. I've had Ledlensers, Coasts etc but they've failed eventually. These are cheap and so far so good after maybe 6 years?

Ledlenser H7R. That’s been my headlamp since 2008. It seemed to die off a bit this year. Purchased some new rechargeable batteries and now back to it’s former glory.
