Hasting rock nore fishing report

Postby codgod » 29 Oct 2014, 17:07

Hi guys just a quick one on todays 2hrs fishing at rock nore hastings. Braved the rain and thought i would grab a quick session. Went down 2hrs before high tide and fished up to high tide and it pee'd it down lol, but that didn't put the whiting off! I had 10 in the 2hrs fishing missing loada of other bit as was fishing 2 rods then switched to 1 because i couldn't keep up lol. I fished fresh lug tipped with squid on a 1 hook cod rig. Their was a few fishing down there today about 1/2 dozen of us and 1 other person caught lol. Does anyone have any tips for unhooking deep hooked fish as had 1 swallow deep today which it didn't survive but the rest were all returned to fight another day.
