GYNN WALL FLAT & ROUND RESULT
26 brave souls fished our flat and round match , mild and calm but persistant fine rain was a bit of a pain but still an enjoyable evening apart from the better size fish being very shy to hit our tackle . Think everyone caught something and there was a 46 cm codling to win the longest round . Results were as follows ,1st Darren Gillies 57 cm... 2nd Steve Barlow 55cm ....... 3rd Glyn Hopkins 52 cm in the main comp ...........The superpool was won with the longest round being the 46 cm codling by Phil marshall and Glyn hopkins 31 cm flounder for the flat .Thanks to all who attended and hopefully run another next month .......
Another great gathering and some fun banter..
Well done to everyone who fished and alsothe winner's...
I dropped a descent Cod of at the bottom of the wall gutted other than that a couple of Whiting for me....
Great way to keep everyone fishing till the final whistle as the final chuck could produce the winning fish...

Re: GYNN WALL FLAT & ROUND RESULT
Once again, Thanks to the lads from Blackpool & Lancs Anglers for an excellent run event :
Well Done to all the winners who collected a bit of coin
Great to meet up with the AA faces again & some from other sites
It was a bit of a toughie last night. Me, Bagger & Tarmacduck fished the pool end of the wall. We all managed a few fish each, but getting bigger ones, proved difficult. I finished with a dozen fish, a 22cm dab & 29cm whiting was the best i could muster. Oddly enough the bigger whiting showed at the all out, with Barry also catching one at 29cm, but the flatfish eluded him. Bagger also had one of each.
The drizzle rain made taking pictures difficult, so i gave up after a while.
Here are a few pics..
