Gynn Wall 24/8
Session on the Gynn Wall yesterday afternoon, sun cracking the flags but North West breeze had colour in the sea, only problem was rafts of "debris" to give it a polite name drifting 20 to 30 yards from the wall. Couldn't call it weed as it looked like mostly branches, twigs and other c%£p washed from the rivers .
With the NW breeze this wasn't moving with the tide and hung about throughout the session.
Anyhow fished two rods both at distance to avoid the debris with flappers and clipped down rigs. Bait was fresh black and peeler.
After an hour of nothing happening did manage one of the usual suspects on black.
Did miss a cracking slack line bite while to one of the lads next to me but that was that, around 45 minutes after high as the with tide and wind working together the dislodge forest returned with a vengeance.
Bloke fishing next to me also had a weaver and an undersized sole, but talking to others we had done well
