Had a similar result. Willpower (Mike) picked me up and we arrived at Gynn Wall at 1800 to be told that the far end is rammed with anglers, so we set up 100 yds past the slip north of the boating pool. I had 1 Whiting & Mike had 2. Quite a lot of 'false' knocks, but no blank. Packed up and left at 2130.

Think I picked the right mark to fish was thinking heading blackpool way. But went Mersey instead tides being a bit small won it. But you just never know had days at blackpool before on the smaller tides and done well luck of the draw me thinks Well done on the better then a blank

At least the craic was good Kenny it was like a mini meet and the company was good, not sure how everyone went on as I left about half eight but think we all avoided the blank, Myself I had a Whiting and 2 small Dabs nothing to write home about but beat the blank. Its always good to meet up with yourself and the lads until next time..

Down there myself last night fishing just north of the boating pool with similar results, just a couple of small whiting for myself, our kid did a bit better with a dab and whiting in size as well as a couple of pin whiting. Must say the is coming as a shock.
