Gynn Wall 16/7

Decided to forgo the pub and head for the Gynn Wall last night with my brother.

High just before 10:00 and when we arrived at 7:00 conditions looked good.

Well looked like we were in for a good session as on first cast Sole (36cm) which tipped the scale at 1lb caught on flapper rig on fresh black.

At the same time our kid had a flounder and a bass of about 35cm.

The it went quite but the sunset provided distraction.

Then half an hour before high when cracking bite, small smoothound I thought but not a lot of fight until I got it hauled onto the apron of the wall when I realised it was bigger than I thought 4lb to 6lb. Sadly snapped rig as I was trying to get it back into the water for the walk to steps

Ah well that was it till be at half eleven but enjoyed evening and the

Excellent session and report Sir H Certainly seems to be a good year for sole
