Gynn Wall 14/8

Postby Sir Humphrey Rtd » 14 Aug 2019, 21:09

Well back on the Gynn to use the last of the bait, and instead of yesterdays bright and breezy conditions we had calm and wet (sometimes very wet!!!)

Bait was black, rag and frozen peeler.

Fish first cast again but this time a little pin whiting took the pennel (a sign of things to come?)

But the sole were still about caught at 40 yards on urfe rig to rag

and then from close into the wall a full house on spreader rig

Odd fish showing through the rest of the flood with another sole and 2 more pin whiting, slowed on the ebb with just two more pin whiting and just to make sure you were paying attention a weever

So ended the session with a flounder, 4 sole, 5 pin whiting and a weever. Steve C had a sole, tope pup, flounder, an eel and a small thornback.

So just to prove how contrary the Gynn can be unlike yesterday when the majority of the fish was on the ebb today they were on the flood ??? ???
