Gynn Wall 13/1
Went down to the Gynn to use up the last of the bait with Steve C yesterday.
Strong SE blowing but sea had a good roll and breaking on the banks.
Dropped in by the slipway and we were on our own on the St Stephens stretch word of the catches must have got out
Bait was black, rag and peeler - fished 2 rods at distance with pennel and 2 hook clipped down and a flapper at mid distance.
Nothing apart from grass and s$%t clotheslining the line for the first hour and a half and then an hour before high small whiting started to show
Couple more whiting before high and then as if by magic the dabs appeared
had 5 and another whiting in half an hour before we as the rain started.
Steve C had similar
