Thanks for the comments chaps - If the water isn't clear in your area next Friday to Monday, I would recommend you travel down the Lynn and try one of the many beaches that contain boulders and kelp. My diaries tell me the tides and this time of year gives pluggers a good chance of a few Bass especially first and last light.
Google earth is a great tool for finding those beaches likely to produce.
Flat calm can be good but, the wind in the right direction is your friend.
