Fished two hours before high water till two hours after without a bite - not even the crabs taking the bait, lugworm,squid and peeler.Never known a year like this one, construction of new sea wall with huge boulders being dropped off lorries, causing massive vibrations is a possible cause? Shrimps now beginning to show, hopefully fishing will improve.

I think it is the same all over the Fylde at the moment not just at Rossall - a poor summer to say the least I've given up on it having had nothing but flounders. Roll on the codling
