Cruising carp

Postby sp8 » 09 Apr 2017, 11:03

Had a pleasant couple of hours watching a nice carp lapping this pond ignoring the floaters I'd chucked in. I've fished this pond for 40 years catching Eels, Perch, a Catfish and a 25lb Carp. Yesterday it was crystal clear which makes me think most of the Carp are no longer there.ImageImageImageImage

Looks a nice place to spend some time course fishing on an early summers morning or evening mate :thumb:

This looks like a little venue round the corner from me I have fished it a number of times but only caught small perch.Went for a look last summer and there must have been half a dozen big carp cruising on the surface they wouldn't touch anything I threw at them I guess you have to put the hours in at this venue to find out what tactics work.
Hopefully will get to fish there again this year.
