Conger Reel

Intend to shore fish for an Eel over the winter and live bait some whiting for them. After some suggestions for a multiplier that I can load plenty of 30lb mono on but nothing to pricey as I won't be going often enough to justify it. I was looking at the PENN range for about £50 I could get a Warfare or a Rival i know these are classed as boat reels but would they be able to lob a mackeral flapper and 6oz of lead about 40 yards and suitable for conger?

Get on fleabay, a second hand Daiwa SLSH (slosh) is just the ticket. And you can cast with them :thumb:
