Cleveleys and Sea Cadets sun 25th

Postby riles1969 » 25 Jan 2015, 18:56

Was going to fish gynn wall. But was advised to fish Cleveleys.
Fished the new wall were the round about is.started fishing at 11.30am nice gully in front of me.clipped down pennell rigs Fresh black lug and fresh mussel. first cast small whiting. Then the weed came trees etc was really bad had a bite had a fish on but could not get it in with the weed etc i snapped off lost rig and shock leader. Was half hour before high so I packed up and moved to sea cadets. There was a match on nothing much caught just a few whiting and dabs.Weed had not been that bad there. I found a spot to fish first cast whiting second cast dab then nothing. lad next to me had a couple of whiting.Called it a day at 3.30pm.Walking off not much been caught.I took photos but for some reason I can't find them on my phone.I have plenty of Bait left so am thinking low water will be best might try and get out tomorrow or Tuesday. Andy
