Blank avoided

Decided to try for a Bass this afternoon.
Rigged up with a Z-Man Diezel Minnow, and set it up weedless.
Tried a few spots without joy, until this little fellow hit.
Not the Target species, but blank avoided.
He was released o.k.

Nice wrasse , never had one on a lure but plenty float fishing , top marks

Nice one Damo fished peel harbour in the Isle of Man back in mid 70s and the ballan wrasse were great fun fishing not your target mate but a nice fish .nice one.
