Battery car park Morecambe

Postby baitdigger » 22 Mar 2012, 21:38

Has anyone fished the rocks or slipways at the Battery car park much?

Looks a good venue now and the rocks reach well out to near the Grosvenor channel. the Battery area was always a good summer bass spot, but with all these plaice showing, wonder if it's worth a trip?

You don't see many people fish it but it's gotta be worth a go, I think most people prefer easier venues but Ill be trying the rocks at some point can imagine it being a good spot, although bet its like a steam train on big tides!

It's going back a while but there used to be a number of bass caught there when there was a shallow channel running through this side of the old 'fish baulks' :thumb:
