Bait update

We have the following fresh baits available

- Blow Lug
- Fresh Black
- Rag Worm

Ragworm will be available from Friday afternoon.

As usually all frozen baits

Alright lads any chance of a bit of feedback I'm planning on going fishing tonight at glasson dock but it's only a 4.4m can I still fish it I'm pretty new to sea fishing thanks Paul

Hi. Yes you can still fish it but you mite get a little muddy. Keep your gear light, use ragworm and red lug as bait for the flounders.

If your not getting any bites at first vary the distance your casting and perhaps even move about.

Let me know how you get on, i know there has been quite a lot of flounders coming off Sunderland point recently.

Hi Wiifisherman

I think if you post messages like this in the "Going out fishing" part of the forum under a new thread, they will be easier to find and I am sure that you would get far more responses. I am sure someone on here will have fished Glasson at low water or at least know of someone who has.

I have only fished Glasson once and that was around high tide, but it was a cracking location for flounder - best bait was lug tipped with mackerel. I don't know about low water, but it looks very sticky and muddy as Chris says
