Back to Earth with a Bang

Postby Sir Humphrey Rtd » 19 Mar 2015, 13:40

After the session on Monday night ventured onto the Gynn this morning to see if anything was about, got down just after 7 to fish 2 1/2 hours flood and an hour of the ebb.

Conditions were flat calm and a bit of a mist to start and then getting sunnier as the morning went on.

Well same tackle and bait apart from only having frozen crab but nothing, nada, naught  .

Only thing that happened in almost 4 hours was a thumping bite on one of the rods early on but then nothing, on checking the tackle top hook of pennel had been pulled down but didn't hold. :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

Oh well that is why they call it :fishing: and not catching
