It's a long time since i fished up there. I need some info please, so i can take the BLAS lads for a change of scenery. What is the best height of tide and how long after....low, does the bore run through..?
I wait for your replies in anticipation. Cheers :thumb:

Not fished either since, ooh, 2016...??? :-) Newbarns on around a 9 mtr is ok, any higher you could end up under the trees. Depending where the channel is it's a rapid run in for about half/three quarters of an hour, but use a 5-6 oz to hold. Same at Arnside really, Sandside a bit shorter as it'll come in, hold for maybe an hour or so depending on height, then go back quite quick. And it can run back very quickly with a lot of crap in it too...
Been a bit of fresh water up here last couple of days or more, so might slow things a bit. Check out some of our recent reports maybe....

Plenty of fish still there at newbarns Iain , it has scowered out a little bit though and a lot more snaggy than it used to be :banghead: I fished where I used to take a club for matches around the corner to the left a few weeks back and had to move back into the bay itself as we lost bit of gear :thumb:
