advice info marks for smooth hound fishing
Hi guys its going to be my first year sea fishing the warmer months this year and fancy targeting this species however where do I start anyone put me on to any good hound spots type of rigs bait etcetc required for these also when do they start showing there face

Smoothound are great.
I think....and anybody feel free to correct me if I'm wrong on this.
You need a few calm days....crab is essential and I used an up and over rig...quite a long trace
Low water at anchorsholme or 5 bar gate is best bet

That's about covered it mark you call also use fish baits ect mackerel bluey might get the odd ray to.

The Rock Channel by New Brighton is another good spot,though it does involve a long walk....from June you will see lads going out on most tides.
