right, i'm sure i'm not the only one who has never fished a match before, so can somebody help me out...

got most of it, 1 rod, 3 hooks, spare rig can be baited, no bait ban, maggots can be used.

but, just to clarify, if i catch a fish, i get whoever is next to me to measure it, or at least confirm my measurement?

do i need to measure all fish or just what i think might be in with a shout?

how do you get your peg?

and finally, one for shacky...

Sorry I can't make it the Doctor's still haven't given me the all-clear .....

But I have told them they if they don't get there finger's out I will be going Fishing in the New Year....

Right here we go...
...You can measure all fish if you want. I measured my two first flat and two roundfish, then added ones that were longer. Another AA member MUST measure your fish.
Your Peg, is where you want to fish, within a limit. I will tell you on the day. But remember to fish near another AA member or you’ll have a long walk to get fish measured.
