A good day in Morecambe 19/05

Postby cosierat » 19 May 2017, 18:20

Met up with DaveH and had a 3 down, 3.5 back :fishing: session. We came armed with Mussels, Mackerel, Black Lug (deceased), peeler crab and DaveH's secret bait. The ebb was slow :fishing: with Dave having 2 Plaice, one at 43cm and I had just the one. On the flood things started very slowly, :fish: :fish: me adding another Plaice and Dave 2 more, 1 at 41cm. Then things really kicked off, Dave had a Flounder followed by 4, yes 4, Bass, including a double header. 2 of them a decent size. All fish returned. Many many apologies but I didn't take any photos. Not only that I forgot my specimen card, thankfully I only caught Plaice. Oh and Dave's secret bait, :secret: :secret: that accounted for 2 of the Plaice and all 4 Bass. Well sorry guys but be BLOWed if I will tell you.

Top session mate but keep your species card and phone, on you at all times. At least you caught, I have just had two days on a beach in Anglesey without a bite.
