Fished North wall last night. Big sea, biggish winds, but not too bad. Fished 3/0 pulley pennels with frozen black and squid cocktail. Had a small whiting early doors and a fellow further up had a codling fall off just as he got it to the bottom of the wall, not a happy chappie . Had a couple of rattles up to high but no . Maybe an hour into the ebb I had nearly run out of bait so packed one rod away and baited my last rig with a worm sausage made with my last two snakes. Been out 10 minutes when the tip pulled down and kept going. Struck and felt a good weight on the end that definatley wasn't a whiting. Fish went down tide about 50 yards and through the next angler's lines. Sorry fella whoever you are. Anyway after going under and over and under again eventually got free and hauled this beauty up the wall. My first ever Cod, 3lb12oz. Well chuffed [emoji2] [emoji2] [emoji2] [emoji2] [emoji2]
