having blanked on Friday I was on the water early Saturday and slowly float trolled North. Passing over a huge weed bed I had my first fish on but lost her at the side. I paddled back up and on the next two trolls landed fish ;D ;D These were winter fit and presteign , putting up a tremendous battle , staying deep and refusing to give in even on my lap ::)

Monday saw myself , Tarponben and MarcJ head over to Grasmere. After an age finding Parking ( we eventually hit lucky as the roadside layby was vacated) we launched into a gin clear calm lake. Grasmere is a small water with stunning views towards Dunmill raise. MarcJ bagged a 7lber and a bank angler had a big 20lber plus. me , I was happy just being there!!
